Major David Carter passed away on July 17, 2021, at age 90. From a 2017 interview with The Greatest Memories, Major Carter talked about being part of the Army's first Special Forces unit in Korea, his 28-years as Professor of Military Science/Senior Army Instructor at Lanier/Central High School, playing \"James Bond\" during a halftime show and more.
