J.Keith Lancaster - WWII Veteran's Story

World War II veteran J. Keith Lancaster of Hawkinsville just turned 99 years old. He shared his memories of bailing out and crash landing on 2 of his 33 missions on a B-24.

Dear Mr. Lancaster, I would like to introduce myself: My name is Ago Alberti, I am disturbing you from Italy. I am a teacher keen on aviation history and have listened with great attention your WWII account. It would be great, for me, to asko you some questions... For example, do you remember when your crew was forced to bail out? And the mission? I am investigating around a B-24 Liberator bomber that crashed close to an hamlet nemed Rondinaia, along the Adriatic side of Italy. The bomber did crashed just South of the on February 16, 1945, at about 16:30. That B-24 had a nickname: ”Super Natural”. Would you like, please, to assist me in my research?
